We are currently seeking a couple of outstanding employees to help Mary in the office with processing orders and answering the multitude of interesting phone calls that come in on a daily basis. -We specialize in restorations for the vintage collector, as well as high performance tuning for the adventure-minded.
-We manufacture a wide range of high quality spares, and we stock parts from the leading Lambretta sources around the globe, including Scootopia, Tutto Lambretta, Casa Lambretta, VE-U.K., MB Developments, Taffspeed, Bitubo, Vertex, Asso, Mazzuchelli, Scooters India, Ltd., and many others.
-We stock the largest selection of Lambretta parts and accessories in North America.
-We are a husband-and-wife team who has been involved in scooters and scootering for a combined 35 years.
-We take pride in providing our customers with fantastic service and a timely turn around on their orders.
-We recently fulfilled our dreams of becoming main shareholders of this business, and as the new forerunners, we seek to broaden our customer support and merchandise turnaround. In doing so we look forward to ushering in a more extensive source for the Lambretta enthusiast to obtain quality parts, service, and technical support.
-We currently have three employees who help to maintain production in the shop. The position(s) of office assistant will enable us to reach our potential of becoming an even more prominent fixture in the worldwide Lambretta market.

About the position(s):

Positions are dependent upon qualifications and availability

Part time - 20 hours/week
Tuesday-Friday 2-6; Saturday 11-3

     Full time - 36 hours/week
Tuesday-Friday 10-6; Saturday 11-3

Wages: Dependent on experience; salary negotiable

Benefits:
Part time:  4 paid sick days a year
Fulltime: 10 paid sick days a year
future additional benefits available based on job performance

Qualifications we are looking for include (but are not limited to):
• Knowledge of and a love for Lambretta Scooters (of course!)
• Experience with shipping and receiving
• Proficiency with computers (Macs in particular), including email, basic web design, FTP uploads, etc.
• Basic accounting knowledge (experience with MYOB AccountEdge a real plus)
• Honesty and integrity
• Extensive customer service experience
• Attention to detail (we stock over 6700 part numbers!)
• Organizational skills a must (if you can answer emails, take phone orders, and pack shipments for UPS all at the same time you will be a star!)
• Excellent phone skills
• Team player
• Must be physically capable of lifting 40 lbs. or more
