Bitubo front shocks for Indian GP Forks - When SIL redesigned the forks for GP models some purists didn't care for the looks of the new design, but no one can deny that the increase in travel was a welcome improvement. | Ever Seen a 125F? - After the disaster that was the ropestart 125E model, Innocenti added a kickstarter and a few other upgrades to creat the F model. We got this one recently and it is in GREAT running condition. It starts right up and HAULS ASS considering it's a 125 that's almost 50 years old. It's the last of the F's from 1955, so it has the later D type forks and seats, and internal improvements to the clutch which make this thing shift better than any Lammy or (ahem...) Vespa we've ever ridden. It's almost a shame that Innocenti didn't continue with this design for the LD's... The motor looks kind of BMW-ish (though our mechanic Dave decided that it was the inspiration for the Yellow Submarine). All the lights work, it stops well, and feels really solid. All we had to do to it was clean out the fuel system, rebuild the rear suspension, and put in a new condensor (after having to fabricate a 22x1.0 puller for the flywheel - try finding one of those at your local cycle shop). Oh yeah and it also has a pretty cool set of passenger footboard accessory thingies. Sorry, it's not for sale, but we just thought you'd like to check it out. |

125LD Mk3 "XP" Delivered to Seattle Area Owner - Jeff Tillotson of Bainbridge Island (off the coast of Washington state) sent us his beloved LD for a complete rebuild and paint job, and here are the results. Jeff says he is thrilled with the way it rides, and he ferries it to Seattle whenever the weather permits for a cruise around the emerald city. Congratulations on a gorgeous scoot Jeff!
