We Miss You, Norton
Those of you who have visited our shop within the last eight years probably met Norton, our black lab/rottie mix (or Rotten Lab as we affectionately called him). He passed away on June 5th from a blood disorder, and he will be sorely missed by everyone but the mailman. We have a lot of fond memories of his time with us, and we can rest assured knowing that his passing was relatively quick and painless. Goodbye, buddy. Looking for something in our website? Say Hello to Kelly
The next time you call us and a female voice answers, say hello to our newest employee, Kelly. She is learning Lambrettas very quickly, and her sparkling personality will make her a joy to work with.LambrettaWorks' Donation of a Restored j50 Special is a Smash at Scooter Rage
A couple of months before one of the largest rallies in the USA, we were approached with the proposition of donating something to the raffle at Scooter Rage in San Francisco. We thought about giving away the usual tires, cables, or something else that would appeal to owners of all types of scooters. Instead, we decided "Why not give away a Lambretta and possibly convert someone over from the dark side?" Despite some unforeseen setbacks, we were able to finish the restoration in time for the raffle, and David Lew of Los Angeles was the lucky winner. After finding out that 50cc scooters from the '60's are good for all of about 25mph, he has already inquired about the prospects of putting a 100cc or larger engine in it. Congratulations David!

Just In - German Iwis brand chains
The German company Iwis makes some of the best chains in the world, including OEM timing chains for Mercedes, BMW, and Porsche, and now you can get this unbeatable quality for your Lambretta at a very reasonable price. They are available in 80, 81, and 82 pitch lengths for use in a wide variety of applications in most Series 1/2/3/GP/Serveta machines. The 81 pitch version has a half link installed and is ideal for use in Li models with 17 tooth front sprockets. Replace that dodgy Iris or Rolon brand chain in your Serveta or SIL GP, and ride with the knowledge that you have the best chain money can buy in your engine.80 Pitch for 15/46 Sprockets in Li/SX/TV - http://www.lambretta.net/shop/shopexd.asp?id=1920

Innocenti PhoneThe next time you pop in the shop and need to make a phone call, feel free to use this telephone which was once used in the Innocenti factory in Milan. Sorry, it does not do automatic translation between English and Italian, but if you want to talk through it with an Italian accent we promise not to laugh at you... |

We have just posted a new page on our web site which will be a huge help to Lambretta owners. It is a compilation of replies to Lambretta technical questions that we have received over the years, broken down by category. If you are having problems with your scoot (or even if you just want to update your scooter knowledge), this should be the first place you look. GO THERE!
Daytona Dampeners
We have just finished a new batch of the most highly advanced front dampeners ever devised for Lambrettas. These aluminum bodied beauties are fully adjustable and rebuildable, and feature stainless steel shafts, a new high carbon spring steel internal variator valve, and aircraft quality heim joint mounting. Our initial supply has sold out, but we will have more available in mid-August. Reserve a pair now for the track or your street rocket!

NOTE: Previous purchasers of these dampeners can return them to us for a free upgrade to the latest specs.
Fiberglass TV3 Front Fenders (or Mudguards for all you Brits!)
Just in are these absolutely perfect reproductions of the fiberglass fenders found on Series 3 TV175/200 models. From the flawless fit and finish, to the mat fibers (rather than woven glass cloth), these are guaranteed to be the best recreations of the original item available anywhere or your money back. These will fit any Series 3, and are an excellent alternative to the original steel fender found on SX models, which are getting very hard to find. http://www.lambretta.net/shop/shopexd.asp?id=2475Did you miss the last What's New page?
